99.8% of sulfuryl fluoride fumigant products are packed in cylinders.
Sulfuryl fluoride fumigant is mainly used for closed fumigation. The medicine contained in the steel bottle is sprayed out with the help of its pressure after opening. Because sulfuryl fluoride fumigant gas is 2.88 times heavier than air, a hose is used to guide the agent to the top of the cargo for release to facilitate its diffusion and penetration. When the cargo pile or warehouse is large, there are many application points, and the three-way pipe can be connected to the hose to distribute the application points. People operate outside the warehouse or the tent.
The dosage should be determined according to the type, quantity, adsorption capacity, type of pests, insect state and temperature, and the tightness of the fumigation site. Generally, the medicine for adults is 0.6-3.5g/m3, the medicine for eggs is 50-75g/m3, the medicine for larvae is 30-50g/m3, and the fumigation is 16 hours, the insect control effect can reach more than 95%.
(1) Warehouse fumigation. The dosage for cotton is 40-50 grams per cubic meter, 30 grams for tobacco, 25-30 grams for wood, seedlings, and crop seeds, 30-40 grams for historical archives, books, specimens, and paper, and 30 grams for clothing.
(2) Prevent and control dry-boring pests in fruit forests. There are 3 methods of application. ① The trunk is sealed and fumigated. The trunk of the insect-infested tree shall be surrounded with 0.1 mm plastic cloth, and a pesticide application tube shall be passed through, tied tightly, and sealed with mud. At about 20°C, 25-30 grams of medicine per square meter of the tree trunk is applied, and the medicine is applied from the application tube, and the plastic cloth is tapped to make the medicine evenly distributed. Fumigation for 1 to 2 days is very effective. ②Fumigation with airtight cavities.
Use a syringe or self-designed gas syringe to inject the medicine from the borehole or fecal hole, that is, seal the mouth with mud. ③The tent fumigation.
(3) Smoke and kill termites. Generally, the dosage of the building is 30 grams per cubic meter, and the fumigation is airtight for 2 days. To prevent and control soil-dwelling black-winged termites in dikes and earth dams, go deep into the capsule from the main ant tunnel in the grouping hole, seal the capsule with soil, and inject gas for fumigation. Use 0.8-1 kg of medicine per nest for 2-18 days.
(4) Soil fumigation. Use the film-covered fumigation method. Before the experiment, apply foot fertilizer, plow and level the soil. The plowing depth is more than 25cm to remove crop and weed residues, try to make the soil particles fine and uniform, and the soil moisture is moderate. Long and wide, spread a distribution belt in the middle of each plot, dig a small trench with a depth of 25cm and a width of 20cm around the plot, and cover it with 0.04mm plastic film or ordinary agricultural film. Pay attention to compaction with wet soil around the area, and seal the area. Seal it with tape to prevent air leakage. Calculate the application amount of each district for application according to the plan. When applying the chemical, put the sulfuryl fluoride fumigant cylinder on the electronic scale, connect the cylinder connector, and then use the latex tube to connect to the plastic tube. After the platform scale is stable and the joints are sealed in good condition, slowly open the cylinder valve and apply the chemical slowly. Pay attention to the changes in the readings of the scale. When the required amount of medicine is reached, quickly close the valve, then remove the connector and quickly seal the application port. Uncover the plastic film 30 days after applying the pesticide, and loosen the soil with a hoe to disperse the air. The plant can be planted after fully dissipating air for 1 week.
