Add refrigerant to the air conditioner, what do we need to know?
1. How many meters after the extension of the air-conditioning pipe should be supplemented with refrigerant?
According to the air-conditioning installation or maintenance process (national standards or industry-related standards): When the connecting pipes between the indoor and outdoor units of the air-conditioning installation exceed the standard length of more than 5 meters, the refrigerant should be refilled in time.
According to different piping specifications or air-conditioning models with different cooling capacities, an electronic scale is used to quantitatively add refrigerant to ensure the performance of the air-conditioning (cooling and heating effect), otherwise, the air-conditioning will be in place when the air-conditioning pipe is extended and the refrigerant is not refilled in time. Low cooling or heating operating pressure has always affected performance.
2. Points for additional refrigerant
★Calculate the amount of additional refrigerant by calculating the actual pipe length of the system liquid piping. According to the calculation result, add refrigerant. It is not possible to add refrigerant arbitrarily based on operating current, pressure, temperature, etc. This is because the current, pressure, etc. will vary depending on the temperature, piping length, and frequency.
★When the refrigerant is filled, special tools such as an electronic liquid adding scale, a figure meter, a filling hose, etc. are required, and the amount of added refrigerant cannot be guessed at will. After the addition of refrigerant is completed, fill in the added refrigerant amount into the nameplate of the outdoor unit to facilitate future after-sales work.
★ For additional sealing of refrigerant, please add additional sealing of refrigerant from the liquid pipe in a liquid state.
3. Calculation method of additional refrigerant in piping
First of all, we need to know that the additional amount of different air conditioner brands is slightly different, but the difference is not very big. Generally speaking, the additional amount is calculated based on the diameter of the liquid supply pipe, that is, the small pipe and the additional amount is different for different refrigerants.
